We have been aware for a few years that sometimes our clients cannot take all the food we want to give them because of difficulties carrying it home.
A single person food parcel, with the fresh fruit and veg, weighs over 15kg rising to over 25kg for a family – which is a lot to carry if you haven’t got easy access to transport.
Do you have a ruck sack, shopping trolley or wheeled suitcase, that is in good usable condition, that you no longer use? If so then MCFB would be happy to pass it on so our clients are able to take all the food available for them.
