We are delighted to announce that Mid Cheshire Foodbank has been awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest award that a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and is equivalent to an MBE.
The award is a fantastic recognition for all our dedicated volunteers who give up their free time to try to ensure that people in our community don’t go hungry. The KAVS aims to recognise outstanding work by local volunteer groups who benefit their local communities and we are very grateful to be thought worthy of such an award.
